Good Morning
I have to say that I love working on Christmas cards in preparation for the holiday season.
For today's card, I used 2 stencils from A Colorful Life Designs, one is new and the other one is older.
By combining them together, I was able to create this fun, simple looking card.
So meet the newly released
So, here's what I did to create my card.
- I placed an older released stencil called Ball Jumble onto a piece of white cardstock and inked with some Bundled Sage Distress Oxide ink. It reminded me of pieces of holly.
- I lifted the stencil off and placed the newly released Christmas Greenery stencil over the panel and inked it up with some Rustic Wilderness DOX ink. I also added some Salty Ocean DOX ink for some shading.
- Next, using the eraser end of a pencil, I stamped in the red dots with some Lumberjack Plaid DOX ink. I added the white detail to the dots with my Posca pen.
- While that dried, I die cut the sentiment from a piece of red cardstock and then cut the word shadow right from the center of the stenciled panel and glued those together.
- I glued the panel onto a piece of white cardstock, then onto a piece of red and then onto a white A2 sized card base.
- I added 2 red gems beside the sentiment to finish my card off.

Here are the stencils I used:
