Welcome
As most of you already know, I love combining stencils to create fun new patterns and designs.
So for today's card, I combined 2 new stencil from A Colorful Life Designs called:
Here's what I did to create my card.
- I began by rubbing some Uncharted Mariner Distress Oxide ink over the back of the Circles and Diamonds stencil, sprayed with Rubbing Alcohol and pressed onto the paper.
- Leaving the stencil in place, I rubbed some more of the Broken China DOX over the stencil, filling in the circles.
- I lifted that stencil off and positioned the Flower Rays stencil over the background and inked it up with some Prize Ribbon and some Uncharted Mariner DOX ink. The flowers gave the background such a great feeling of energy.
- Next, I looked through my scrap pieces of inked cardstock and found this one that I had done using Brushos on white cardstock so I used that to die cut my sentiment and glued it onto the white word shadow.
- I glued my stenciled card front onto a piece of navy cardstock and then onto a white A2 sized card base.
- I used some foam tape to pop the sentiment over the middle of my card.
