Good Morning.
Woke up this morning to a winter wonderland.
I am just working away at getting some Christmas cards done so hope I am not boring you with some more. I saw a technique that I wanted to try. Instead of inking your stamps, you apply paint. I used watered down Brushos for mine. This is the wonderful results of doing that.
I began by getting out my MISTI. Using a paint brush, I painted the Brusho onto the stamp surface, a spray of water then stamped. I masked the flower with a mask I had cut from scrap paper, painted the flower and stamped again 2 more times. So pleased with the results.
To pull it all together, I scored a border around the edges and stamped the sentiment from Penny Black.
Adding my card to these challenges:
Simon Says- CHRISTMAS
CASology- PRETTY
Addicted to Stamps- ANYTHING GOES
Craft Stamper- TAKE A STAMP
Thanks so much for coming by and taking a look.
Supplies: stamps- Penny Black, STAMPlorations/ Brushos/ paint brush/ mini mister/ MISTI/ ScorPal/ Memento bl ink
