Love Letter- CAS Watercolour Challenge

Welcome
It's time for another card for the
This month our theme is silhouette...right up my alley!

This card came together so quickly.
I inked the background using an acylic sheet and some Brushos.  The acrylic sheet is a backing from one of my stamp sets that is thin and flexible.
So, I sprinkled some Leaf Green Brushos onto the acrylic sheet, sprayed it with a bit of water to activate the ink and pressed onto my paper.  I repeated that process using some Turquoise Brushos and water until I was happy with the colour placement.  Since the acrylic sheet is so thin, I could bend it and place the ink exactly where I wanted it to go.
Next, I placed this Love Letter stamp (new-to-me) into my Misti, inked with Archival Black ink and stamped.  It has all the details and splatters already on it so it's a super easy stamp to use and get great details and interest with little effort.  I clear embossed the image to get it to really pop.
I did add a hint of stenciling behind the main image using a Tim Holtz stencil and some Distress ink.

Thanks so much for coming by and taking a look.
You still have time to come and play along with us too.

Gorgeous smooshed Brushos background using your thin acrylic sheet. I am amazed that there was so much cool detail to your "Love Letter" stamped image:-) You even added a bit of your signature stenciling for even more subtle detail. TFS your technique, Karen. Hugs..

I haven't tried using the Brushos on an acrylic sheet to get the placement of my background - great technique. What a fabulous collage stamp to give the details of splatters as well as the beautiful butterflies! Great addition of a bit of stenciling too!

Wonderful smooshing with great shades of colour Karen, it all looks so free and easy! Maybe a tiny bit more of the card is covered than we generally like to see at Less is More - you know how we love our open, clear space 😉. The stamp is very dramatic & arty, and all in all your card is very beautiful. Thanks so much for popping this in to us at Less is More xx
