Pretty in Pink- The Flower Challenge #28, Pink and Grey

Good Morning.
I happy to be back with another card for

Our theme this month is a colour Challenge- use Pink and Grey.
Please check out all the wonderful cards designed by our most talented design team.

I have to say that I quite like this combo.  It has a nice softness to it.

So onto my card.
I began by placing the Rectangle mask from A Colorful Life over my white cardstock.  I love using the mask as I am left with a clean, fresh white border when done.
I laid the Circle Make Circles stencil over my mask and sponged on some Spun Sugar Distress ink using my inking tool.  I removed the stencil and added some stamping to the background to add more depth and interest.
Leaving my mask in place, I sponged all the edges to help define the stamped area.
Next, I placed the piece inside my Misti (with the mask still attached) and inked up the flowers and the sentiment using some grey ink and stamped over my background.
I removed the mask and mounted the piece onto some matching pink cardstock and then onto a plain white card base.

Thanks so much for coming by and taking a look.
I hope you will come and play along with us.

I love the background with the circles and the added stamping Karen, and also the sponging to the edges of the rectangle gives great definition. The wildflowers and the sentiment go beautifully too. A super card! x

Love this card and used it as inspiration to make my niece's bday card. Don't have the same stamps, but I was able to capture your card pretty well. Thank you so much for the inspiration!
