Medallion

Hello and Welcome.
Meet today's card.  I love how it turned out and it was so super simple to create using a mask, stencil and some Distress Oxide inks.

To begin making my card, I placed a circle mask from A Colorful Life over my heavy white cardstock.  I am loving these masks as they are so easy to use with great results.
Next, I inked up my Bo Ho Medallion stencil with some Distress Oxide inks, sprayed with water and pressed over the mask. I placed a piece of scrap paper over stencil and rolled over it with my brayer to create a monoprint.  I have had good luck transferring the ink that way.
When I removed the inked stencil and the mask, I was left with this beautiful impression.
To help accentuate the circle detail, I simply die cut a circle and framed the impression under that.
I stamped the sentiment in more of the same colour ink, added a drop of blue Nuvo to the center of the medallion and pop dot mounted it onto a heavy white cardstock base.
