Welcome
As most of you, I don't always have a lot of time to create with working a busy schedule, so when I can create a quick and simple card, I'm in.
This one came together so quickly.
I began with a piece of heavy white cardstock. I rubbed some Distress Oxide inks onto my non-stick craft mat, sprayed with water then slapped my cardstock into the wet ink.
This technique is great especially if you like a more random look with some white space.
I dried the ink, then placed it into my Misti. I inked up the Winter Woodland stamp from Penny Black with some Weathered Wood DOX inks and stamped the trees to create the shadow effect you can see in the background. I moved my paper down inside the Misti, then stamped again using some Versafine Clair black ink. I really do love the shadow effect the double stamping gives.
I stamped the sentiment from the Destination Sentiments set also from PB in the top corner.
I mounted the piece onto some white cardstock then onto some purple and onto a white card base.
Thanks so much for coming by and taking a look...so appreciated.
