Spinner Ink Background Tutorial

Hello and Welcome

I have the pleasure of writing a tutorial for Splitcoast Stampers called
Spinner Ink Background
You may remember the backgrounds I made using the Salad Spinner?
You can see my other cards HERE, HERE and HERE

Here is the link to my Splitcoast Stampers Tutorial:

So here's what I did to create this card.
  • I used my salad spinner to create the background on a piece of Yupo paper using my Alcohol inks. See the tutorial for all the details.
  • I used the Diagonal Stitched Plaid Die to add interest to the inked background.
  • I splattered using my black Posca pen...I like a little bit of black as an accent.  I set that aside to dry.
  • I found a piece of paper I had inked in similar colours in my stash and die cut the sentiment from Simon Says using that.  It is a 2 piece die.  After I cut out the letters, I glued it onto the white outline piece of the die.
  • I glued the inked panel onto a white card base, then foam taped the sentiment over the background.

Thanks a lot for coming by and taking a look.
