Good Morning
Here is a non-traditional Christmas card I made using 2 newly released stencils from A Colorful Life Designs called:
There are 2 snowflakes on one sheet and the arches come is a large variety of sizes.
So here's what I did to create my card.
- I cut a piece of white cardstock 3 3/4" square and found the center point. I placed one of the Marvelous Masks Arch over the first corner with the arch touching the center spot and inked with some Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide ink.
- I flipped the arch over and inked the opposite corner next with more of the pink.
- I wiped the stencil off and inked the other 2 corners the same way, overlapping them with some Ripe Persimmon DOX ink.
- Next, I wanted to use some white embossing powder so I rubbed over the whole panel with my Anti-stick powder tool.
- I placed one of the Lacy Snowflakes over the stenciled bkg and rubbed some Versamark ink over the whole snowflake then I white heat embossed it.
- I took the 2nd snowflake stencil on that sheet, placed it over the embossed one and inked again with some Lumberjack Plaid DOX ink.
- I splattered the whole panel with my white Posca pen and then added the die cut sentiment over the middle.
- I glued my finished card front to a piece of dark red cardstock and then onto a 4 1/4" square white card base.
- To finish my card off, I added 3 silver gems around the sentiment.
Here are the stencils I used:

This is gorgeous Karen, and I love the way you have one of the snowflakes stencilled in a dark red and then added the other using embossing powder in white, and the pink and orange is so pretty in the background too. A wonderful card! x
