Good morning
For today's card, I combined 2 new stencils from A Colorful Life Designs called:
These stencils make for some fun St. Patrick's Day cards.
So, here's what I did to create my card.
- I masked off half of a piece of white cardstock down the center and placed the Celtic Knots stencil over the paper and inked it up with some Rustic Wilderness Distress Oxide ink along the left side.
- I removed the mask and placed the Clover Frame stencil along the right hand side and inked that with some Cracked Pistachio DOX ink.
- Leaving that stencil in place, I went over it with the Celtic Knot and inked with more of the Rustic Wilderness to give more interest to the clover and also to tie the left hand side into the right.
- There was a lot of white space left, so I used the eraser on the end of a pencil in fill it in with some green dots.
- I placed the stenciled panel into my Misti to stamp the sentiment. **You can't really see it in the photo, but I scored a line between the 2 sections with my ScoreBug**
- I glued the panel onto a piece of white cardstock, then dark green, then onto an A2 sized white card base.
- To finish my card off, I added some black gems around the sentiment.
Here are the stencils I used:
Thanks so much for taking a look.
