Life is Good

Happy Day!
It's the weekend, I'm starting my holidays and had some time to play.
I wanted to create a card using some new toys I just picked up from SSS.
Very simple card to create.

I began by masking off my card front with some Post-It tape, laid down my stencil, then rubbed over it with some Peacock Feathers and Faded Jeans Distress Oxide inks.  I splattered with some water to help lift off some of the colour and add some depth.
While that dried, I die cut the flower frame, then glued it over the stenciled bkg.
I added a blue button to the center of the flower that matched the bkg.
I like the crisp, clean look it has.

Thanks so much for coming by and taking a look.

Adding my card to these challenges:
Shopping Our Stash- SILHOUETTE
Craft Stamper- ANYTHING STAMPED GOES

Supplies
Stamps- none
Inks- Peacock Feathers, Faded Jeans Distress Oxides (TH)
Paper- heavy white
Accessories and Tools- Cuttlebug= Floral Stem die (Poppy Stamps)= Line Dance stencil= SSS=
Post it Tape= Blending Tool (Ranger)

What a terrific card! As a lover of blue (but rarely use it!), I believe that crisp white shows it off beautifully.

Beautiful - love the peaceful look of the blue and white - my favourite colour combination. Wonderful lines and sense of movement from that stencil.
