Wavy Dot Triangles

Happy July!
What an exciting new month with 17 newly designed stencils from A Colorful Life Designs.
So for today, meet:

So, here's what I did to create this simple card.
  • I placed the Mid Century Wavy Dot Triangles stencil over a square piece of white cardstock and then inked it up with some Uncharted Mariner Distress Oxide ink.
  • I removed the stencil, cleaned it off and placed it over a smaller square of white cardstock and inked with some Tumbled Glass DOX ink.
  • I glued the largest square onto a 4 1/4" square card base.
  • I glued the smaller light blue stenciled square onto a piece of white cardstock, turned the pattern in the opposite direction and used some foam tape to adhere it.
  • I stamped the sentiment with more of the Uncharted Mariners DOX inks and die cut it out.  I used more foam tape to pop it over the middle of the smaller panel.

Here is the stencil I used:

Another wonderful card in shades of blue, and love the way you have used the darker tone for the background stencilling and then the light blue on the top layer..wonderful dimension too and you have made the top layer triangles match perfectly...a brilliant card Karen. x
