Happy February!
I've heard so many say they are grateful that January is over because where I live with the snow and the ice, that means we are one step closer to getting Spring.
Lots of new releases over at A Colorful Life Designs this month.
This card was created using the newly released:
So, here's what I did to create my card.
- I placed a piece of white cardstock onto my Make Art Station and centered the Regal Doily stencil over that.
- I began in the center and inked with some Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide ink. Next, I moved outwards inking with some Ripe Persimmon and then finally with some Fossilized Amber DOX ink along the outside edges.
- I lifted the stencil off and splattered it with my white Posca pen.
- While that dried, I cut out the pre-printed sentiment strip and glued it onto a piece of pink cardstock.
- When the panel was dry, I glued it onto a piece of pink cardstock, then onto an A2 sized card base.
- I used some foam tape to pop the sentiment over the center and added some gems around that.
