Four Squares

Hello and Welcome
I had fun playing with this newly released stencil from A Colorful Life Designs called:

So, here's what I did to create my simple card.
  • I placed the Circles and Diamonds stencil over a piece of white cardstock and inked it up with some Prize Ribbon Distress Oxide ink.
  • I wiped the stencil off and moved it to the side and inked again with some Cracked Pistachio DOX ink right over the first design.
  • I took my stenciled pattern and cut it into 4 small squares and glued them onto a piece of navy cardstock.
  • I popped the squares up with some foam tape and then adhered them to a white 4 1/4" square card base.
  • I stamped the sentiment, die cut it with a circle die and used some more foam tape to pop it over the center of my card front.

Here is the stencil I used:

Love the way you've used the stencil on your fun, bright card Karen. Your 4 square panels really drawn the eye in! Thanks for joining in with us at Just Add Ink.

The circular dotty stencill design in blue and green looks great Karen and moving it when you added the second colour works brilliantly, and prettily finished with the added stamped circular sentiment and a lovely idea to cut the background to make the four matted squares. x
