Hello
Meet today's card.
It is still winter here where I live, the snow is melting a bit and Spring is trying to get here.
I just couldn't resist playing with this great snowflake stamp again from the Colorado Craft Company.
So here is what I did to create my card.
I began by inking up the inside of my Numbers Embossing folder with some Versamark ink, ran it through my Cuttlebug and white heat embossed.
I rubbed some Distress Oxide inks onto my non-stick craft mat, sprayed with water and slapped my paper into the wet ink to create my blue background. When I was happy with the inking, I dried it with my heat gun.
Next, I placed the panel into my Misti and painted the snowflake with some Brushos and stamped.
I repeated that process until the snowflake was totally visible over the embossed bkg.
I had some diluted Brushos left over, so I used that to add the splatters.
I stamped the sentiment with Versamark ink and white heat embossed it onto the black cardstock. I added it to the side of my card panel.
Thanks so much for coming by and taking a look.

Beautiful snowflake and background! Love all the shades of blue! I bet you're longing for winter to be over! Here in Vancouver we've got snowdrops and crocuses blooming, but they are predicting a bit of snow for us on Saturday!
That huge snowflake is awesome! Great job!
I love the white embossed outline of the numbers and the pretty large blue snowflake with those pretty shades of blue Karen, and the white on black sentiment stands out really well. A beautiful card. x
I'm always in awe at your cards Karen, they and this are gorgeous.

I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I think this card is one of my all time favorite Karen cards ever! Your snowflake is a cross between Jaw dropping beautiful, and artistically wild. I love it!
Gorgeous shades of blue and I love that big snowflake.
This is beautiful, I love the icy blues and there's so much to see here. Have a very happy week, Sue xx

What a wonderful combination of blue shades! I've never attempted to stamp using the Brushos but love the results. All that embossing, smooshing and stamping turned into a fabulous card. Thanks so much for joining us for the Cardz 4 Guyz challenge.
An amazing background - love the coloures you've used.
