Welcome
This card is way more simple then it looks using the newly released stencil from A Colorful Life Designs called:
This card really shows the versatility and simple designs created by moving a stencil and overlapping the pattern.
Here's what I did to create my card.
- I placed the Celtic Mask over a piece of white cardstock and inked it up with some Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide ink.
- I wiped the stencil off, then shifted it over and inked again with some Uncharted Mariner DOX ink.
- I splattered over the stenciling with my white Posca pen and set aside to dry.
- I die cut the 'YAY' letters from a piece of pale blue cardstock and added some white details to the letters to add to the interest.
- I die cut the word shadow right from the middle of my stenciled card base and also from a piece of dark blue cardstock. I glued them together, offsetting a bit to show the darker behind and to give it a bit of contrast.
- I glued my card front onto a piece of white cardstock, then onto blue and then onto a white A2 sized card base.
- I used some foam tape to pop my sentiment back into place, matching the pattern.
Here is the stencil I used:

Love how you coloured the stencil, lovely shades of blue. The Yay is fun too. x
Just shifting a stencil a bit can make something different again, and it has worked brilliantly here Karen, and love the Peacock Feathers and Uncharted Mariner inks, and a lovely large sentiment to finish which looks great. x
This card is fun!! I’m loving the big sentiment!
Thanks so much for joining us at Little Red Wagon for our "Just the Way You Are" challenge this week!

What a great background--that is an awesome stencil and you used it so well! Love the colors and the added highlights to the words! Thank you for playing along with us at SAS4Kids!
Love the big sentiment against that fabulous background!
Hi, Karen! Aren't stencils the best?! I played with some layered bunny stencils for our SAS4Kids March challenge. But I love the effect you achieved here moving your stencil around. Very cool! Thanks so much for joining us at Send a Smile 4 Kids.
