Wishes

Hello and Welcome
I enjoy creating cards for the holidays and trying to use my supplies in different ways.
This stencil is called Round Fragments and to me looks like large flowers.  I decided to pair it up with these large Tim Holtz snowflakes to create a fun bkg.

So I began by placing the stencil over my heavy white cardstock and rubbed on some Peacock Feathers and Tumbled Glass DOX using a blending brush.  I removed the stencil and placed the piece into my Misti and stamped the snowflakes using some Blueprint Sketch DOX ink.
While that dried, I took a strip of white cardstock, stamped the sentiment from Penny Black and pop dotted that over the snowflakes.
I added a few blue sequins then glued the piece onto some blue cardstock then onto a heavy white card base.

Thanks so much for coming by and taking a look.

Here is the stencil I used:

Ooooh love the blues Karen, so bright and pretty and the stencil looks great with the large snowflakes over the top and a great idea to pop up the sentiment strip. I love those blue sequins too. x

What an awesome background Karen and wonderful innovative use of your stencils! The sentiment on vellum was enough :)
