Meet today's card.

I had fun playing with 2 new stencils from A Colorful Life Designs called Heart Wreath and Big Bows.

Super simple card to make.

So, here's what I did to create my card.

• I laid a piece of white cardstock onto my Make Art Station and positioned the Heart Wreath stencil over my paper.  I inked it up with some Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide ink.
• I wanted to add some shading to the hearts, so leaving the stencil in place, I inked areas with some Lumberjack Plaid DOX ink.
• Before I removed the stencil, I splattered with my white Posca pen.
• I set that aside to dry and then inked up the Big Bows stencil with the same inks as mentioned above and fussy cut that out.
• I placed the inked wreath panel into my Misti and stamped the sentiment into the center of the wreath.
• I glued the panel onto a piece of pink cardstock, then onto an 4 1/4" square notecard.
• I pop dotted the bow onto the bottom part of the wreath.

Today's card features a new stencil from A Colorful Life Designs called Christmas Cover.

So, here's what I did to create my card.

• I masked the top part of my card panel, laid just the snowflake part of the stencil over the top part of my card front and inked it up with some Broken China Distress Oxide ink.  I shaded a bit with some Prize Ribbon DOX next.
• When I was finished inking the top, I moved the masks and then moved the stencil down to the bottom area and inked again, this time including the bow.
• I removed the stencil and stenciled just the bow again onto another piece of cardstock.  I did that because I wanted to fussy cut it out so I could pop it over the flat panel.
• I did some inking in the background with some Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide ink to help fill in the white space, then splattered with my white Posca pen.
• Next, using my Scor-bug, I scored some lines along the edges of the inking and into the white area.
• I die cut the sentiment, then inked it up as well with the same colours as mentioned above and splattered.
• I glued the panel onto and A2 sized card base and popped the sentiment up near the top of the panel.
• I fussy cut out the bow I had inked up on a separate piece of cardstock and popped that over the stenciled background.  It worked so great and added a lot more interest then just leaving it flat.

Today, I am playing with 2 new stencils from A Colorful Life Designs.

On the background I used the Dotted Poinsettia and for the bow I used the Christmas Cover stencil.

So, here's what I did to create my card.

• I cut a piece of white cardstock and placed it onto my Make Art Station with the Dotted Poinsettia stencil over that.
• I inked it up with some Rustic Wilderness and some Candied Apple Distress Oxide ink.
• I got another piece of white cardstock and placed the Christmas Cover stencil over my paper and inked that up with more Candied Apple and added a bit of shading to the bow with some Barn Door DOX ink.  I repeated that process as I wanted the bow to be layered up.
• Next, I fussy cut the bows out, one I cut the whole thing out and the other one just the bow portion without the tails.
• I splattered with my white Posca pen.
• I used some foam tape to pop the largest bow over the front of my stenciled panel, then foam taped the bow part from the second piece I had cut out, over that.  It really added great dimension to the overall look of the bow.
• I glued the main panel onto a piece of red cardstock and then onto an A2 size card panel.
• I die cut the sentiment and inked just parts of it so it wouldn't get lost against the background.
• Lastly, I added some red gems for interest.
