Today, I am re-making my Christmas card seen here:
into this card for the Spring.
Sometimes it is fun to try and re-think the elements that went into a card to remake it for another season or occasion. Here, I kept the colour palette pretty much the same but changed the tree to the flowers called Polka Dot Sprigs and the sentiment from a Christmas greeting to an all occasion greeting from the Eloquence set. Spring just can't get here fast enough.
My cards are being featured over at the Penny Black blog today where there is also a GIVEAWAY happening. See you soon.
Supplies: stamps; Penny Black/ Distress inks/ piercing tools/ eb powder/ pop dots

That would be a great challenge! I love both of these (the spring one better right now - I've had enough of winter! lol!)
What a beautiful design, Karen, and I love the blues!
Both cards are so beautiful. Interesting to see what a change the image can make.
I saw this today on SCS and I think it's absolutely gorgeous!
I LOVE this, both your Christmas card and your spring card!!!
Simply classy and elegant! Gorgeous inking, Karen!
Fantastic idea...and so beautiful, too!!
I love "remaking" cards with a new image, or new color palette. Gives your ideas more mileage! And I find the second often turns out even better than the first. I like that you did the colors a bit darker on the new version. It really makes those flowers "pop"!
Love your card Kelly!
Please visit my blog, I have nominated you for a Liebster Award:
