Welcome to Monday. Hope you had a great weekend. I am still recovering but was able to sit long enough to stamp a bit yesterday and played along with the Featured Stamper challenge at Splitcoast.and also the challenge at Addicted to CAS where the keyword is 'FRIEND'.
Creating my background was quick, easy and fun. First I inked up my acrylic block with Distress inks in blues then sprayed with water and stamped onto my cardstock. I then wrapped elastic bands around my block, inked again then stamped over the blue. I added the sentiment from Penny Black and the die cut flowers. Thanks so very much and coming by to take a look.

Hi Karen. Fabulous background. I have added elastic bands to my brayer and rolled it over cardstock, but never added them to an acrylic block ... thanks for the idea!! Thanks for joining us at Addicted to CAS! Loll xx
Cool card! Love the colors of the background. I've seen and heard of these techniques but never tried them...think that will be changing soon. Thanks for the inspiration! Hope your feeling better.

Beautifying! What kind of paper did you use? Glossy, matte?
