Creative Collage

Good Morning.

Had some time to play this A.M. and the sketch challenge at Splitcoast got my creative juices flowing.
A quick, collage-style card.  Haven't done one of those for such a long time.

I began by picking up my smallest acrylic block and sprinkled Brusho directly onto my block, sprayed with water then pressed onto my paper.  I like the watery impression it left behind.
The background stamp is a long, narrow stamp from Kaisercraft that I just partially inked up and stamped over the Brusho area.
Lastly, I stamped the sentiment that I just got.  It is by Tim Holtz.

I am adding my card to these challenges:

The Male Room- SPOTS and STRIPES
(a loose interpretation of the theme-small stripes in bkg and spots)

Addicted to Stamps- CLEAN and SIMPLE

Craft Stamper- TAKE A STAMP/ANYTHING GOES

Craft Your Passion- ANYTHING GOES

The Crazy Challenge- MONOCHROMATIC

Thanks so very much for coming by to take a look.

Supplies:  stamps- Kaisercraft, Tim Holtz/ Brusho/ acrylic block/ mini mister/ Memento bl ink

Love the card Karen and you can be another tip about using Brushos. I have to admit I did begin playing with them but boy did they make my fingers messy/dirty. Thanks for the info.

This is a really cool card! I've heard Brushos really stain so I'm wondering how they fared on your acrylic block. Not that a stained block is bad... you could probably find it easier in a mess than a clear one!
