Hello September.
This month, I have the pleasure of being a Guest Designer over at STAMPlorations. The challenge this month is to create a card based on this sketch:
Of course I grabbed my blue inks and got to work.
I began by inking up the back of my Gridlocked stencil with Salty Ocean Distress inks, sprayed with water and pressed it onto my watercolour paper. When that was dry, I took a circle stencil that I have cut from a piece of acetate and using my Distress and Colourbox inks, stencilled the circles randomly over as per the sketch.
I stamped the flowers using my Misti and then added the sentiment from the lovely Noteworthy set that I have really used a lot.
Addicted to CAS- BLUE
Little Red Wagon- CLEAN and SIMPLE
CAS on Sunday- SPLASH
(sprayed lots of water on my stencil)
Virginia's View- GEOMETRIC PATTERNS
Hope you get a chance to come and play along with us!
Thanks again for your continued support and visits here to see what I have been up to.
Supplies: stamps-STAMPlorations, Purple Onion/ stencil/ Memento and Distress inks/ mini mister/ black half pearls/ MISTI

Popped over to have a closer look as I'm also GDT this month. Will now be following you Karen as I love your inky creations and how you create gorgeous CAS style cards with them. Thanks for the fabulous inspirations from another Karen x
Love the colour of this Karen and how you used the different stencils to create your background.
So pleased to see you as our GD this month. :)
Congrats on being the guest designer Karen. Thanks for explaining another technique. Two months ago I was into Brushos and now I am loving stencils, some I have had for a long time. Love the card.
Congrats on your GDT place - you've certainly done them proud with your gorgeous card, Jo x
Absolutely gorgeous! I love the contrast between the criss cross "bricks" and the circle shapes.
Another stunner, I love your interpretation of the sketch and your sentiment.
Another beautiful card and so well done. Love it.

More techniques to learn from you, Karen. Keep them coming. Your cards are magnificent!
Wow. That is gorgeous :)
That is SO cool, love the way you did the background,,,,Awesome :)
Love this Karen ... I really am in AWE of your stunning backgrounds. Where do you get your Penny Black Stamps (assuming Canada) - I have such a hard time finding a place where they have a large enough stock to chose from!
