Morning.
It's a new month and time for a new challenge at The Flower Challenge.
So I decided to make my occasion Christmas and used this pretty poinsettia stamp to make another card for the holidays.
I began by placing the Christmas Pride flower from Penny Black into my Misti, inked it with Versamark and stamped. I then embossed with white embossing powder and a heat tool. I used some Spun Sugar and Festive Berries Distress ink on my acrylic block, water and a paintbrush to paint in the flower. I love this flower as it is so easy to watercolor and add shading.
I stamped the sentiment from the Festive Cheer PB set in the bottom corner with black Memento ink.
I sponged more Spun Sugar over the whole card front then white embossed the edges.
It needed some more interest, so using the Script stamp, I randomly stamped with Versamark ink and embossed in white. Much better. The finishing touch was to add some black gems to the flower center.

I love that stamp too, Karen, and it looks lovely with the pink background.
I'm a follower of your beautiful work and saw you used the same stamp as I did last week on my Facebook - Gery Tiemens-Hartgers and this is soooo different, but also sooo beautiful.
Stunning what you can do by using the same stamp.
If it is okay with you, I would like to try your technique too.
Have a nice weekend.

I would say that instead of being titled Pretty Poinsettias this should be titled Gorgeous Poinsettias. What a magnificent design and I love the softer coloring of them.
