Cheers!
Hope you are having a great weekend.
Today, I am playing with shaving cream. Not the gel but the foam kind...the cheapest kind you can find. A bit messy but so, so fun. I love playing with new techniques and if you have more re-inker then I do, you are all ready to go and can achieve amazing results.
I love the way the colors blend in the background so here is the link if you want to try it out.
I used a stencil from Simon Says, shaving cream and some Distress re-inkers.
I stamped the sentiment from Technique Tuesday using my Misti and splattered on some white acrylic paint to add to the snowflake theme. Added the black gems to pull it all together.

I love these big snowflakes and the splatter adds to the fun, Karen! A great background and I'll bet it smells really good too!
Wow! That looks like a fun thing to do. I certainly love the card you made with your snowflake design. Hubby has that type of shaving cream but maybe I best buy my own can. He may not appreciate me using his all up. LOL
Beautiful background, love the softness of the colours. I haven't tried shaving cream and stencils but really should :)
Fantastic background and sentiment, I really LOVE this card! I've never tried using shaving cream on my cards but I'm going to pin this and give a go!
Wauw... lovely christmascard. I love the big snowflakes.

Its looks Awesome !
Karen, what a gorgeous card! I love this shade of blue and loved watching both the new and older tutorials on this technique. Guess I need to pick up some shaving cream and play. It sounds like fun! But truly, this is a beautiful card!! Hugs, gf!
Thanks for the link, Karen. I did shaving cream marbling but this is a little different. I don't have reinkers but food coloring works just as well.
Thanks for reminding me about Lydia's tutorial on this - I kept meaning to try it but then forgot! Love your version of it with the beautiful shades of blue! The white acrylic splatters are a perfect finishing touch.
I hadn't seen this technique but it sure looks like fun! Thanks for the link! What a wonderful job you did and your impression is so clean and crisp!
Stunning card! xxx

Wow...you had great success with your stencil and shaving cream Karen. So pretty and festive. TFS my friend. Hugs, Nancy
What a bold card. I went to a friend's house for a card making session and she was trying out the shaving cream technique. I had to leave because she was using some cheap SCENTED shaving cream and it was killing me. AHHHchooo! I've been leery of the technique every since.
Another fantastic technique using shaving cream. Need to give this a try! :) LOVE your card ... such beautiful colours. xx
This really is gorgeous! Thank you for joining us at Try It On Tuesday! Chrisx
