Happy Smiles- The Flower Challenge

Good Morning.
Time for another card for
The Flower Challenge.
Our theme this month is Paper Piecing.

So onto my card.
I began by inking my white cardstock with Distress inks and a sponging tool.
I then stamped the flower stalk to get my positioning right and using my Misti, stamped the sentiment as well.  Then I went onto adding all the details to my background.
I used some drywall tape to stencil, white heat embossed a script and stamped some Mixed Media elements around the empty areas of my card.
I set that aside and stamped the flowers with Versamark ink onto a leftover inked paper found in my stash, then fussy cut out the flowers and pop-dot mounted the flowers over the stems.

On another note...here are some of my cards from The Flower Challenge during 2017.

Hope you get a chance to come and play along with us!
Thanks for the visit.

Adding my card to these challenges:
Little Red Wagon- LUURVE
CRAFT Challenge- MOTHER'S DAY/FEMALE
The Crafty Addict- ALL LOVED UP
Crafty Sentiments- ADD FLOWERS

Friendship Message (HA)

All are so very lovely but I must say this one is my favorite and I think it is because of the popped flowers. More dimension and of course, the colors are gorgeous too!

Such a beautiful blue background and the added stamping and stencilling is just perfect, and the paper pieced flowers in a darker blue tone with the white heat embossing stand out really well against the black silhouette stem and leaves. Gorgeous! x
