Hello and Welcome
Are you ready for a new month and for a new challenge?
This month we will be celebrating Spring at the
So this month our host Susan has asked us to create some cards for Spring using those kinds of flowers. So think snowdrops, daffodils, tulips, crocuses, apple and cherry blossom, dogwood, etc.
I can't wait to see my Spring flowers. They are slowly beginning to emerge. It is such an exciting time of year when all comes to life.
So onto my card details.
I began with a piece of heavy white cardstock. I positioned my rectangle acrylic mask over the center area of my card panel. I set it up in my Misti, then using my Tombow markers, I coloured directly onto the stamp which reminds me of crocuses, sprayed with water and stamped. I repeated that process until I was happy with the inking.
Leaving the mask in place, I sponged along the edges with some Shaded Lilac Distress ink and splattered just to one side using some of the DI ink diluted with water.
I removed the mask and stamped the sentiment in the bottom corner.
I mounted it onto a piece of purple cs then onto a heavy white card base.
I hope you will come and play along with us.
Thanks so much for stopping by.
