Arctic Snow

Good Morning
Today's card features just one of the newly released stencils from A Colorful Life Designs called:
It's perfect for creating those winter/Christmas cards.

So, here's what I did to create my card.
  • I placed the Arctic Snow stencil over a piece of white cardstock and inked it up with some Salty Ocean Distress Oxide ink.
  • Next, I added some Uncharted Mariner DOX ink just to the center of the larger snowflakes to help add more interest.
  • To give the panel more of a snowy look, I stamped and white heat embossed the little snowflakes randomly into the background, then I splattered the whole panel with my white Posca pen and set aside to dry.
  • When the panel was dry, I used the Postal Collage die to cut it out.
  • I glued the stenciled panel onto a piece of blue cardstock, then onto a white A2 sized card base.
  • I die cut the sentiment with a light blue cardstock and used some foam tape to pop it over to the side.

Here is the stencil I used:

Very bright and pretty blue tones for these wonderful stencilled snowflakes Karen, and finished with a lovely blue die cut sentiment to finish it. x
