Welcome
Today, I'm playing the the newly releases stencil from A Colorful Life Designs called
So, here's what I did to create my card.
- I placed the Mid Century Atomic Strands stencil over a piece of white cardstock and inked it up with some Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide ink.
- I lifted the stencil, cleaned it off and flipped in the other direction. This time, I inked it up with some Prize Ribbon DOX ink.
- To created my white card base, I cut a piece of cardstock that was 4 1/4" wide by 9 3/4" long and scored it at 5 1/2".
- I cut my stenciled card panel into a 4x4" piece and the left over piece at 1". I glued those onto a piece of blue cardstock and then into place on my card base. **NOTE: I decided to cut down the above mentioned panels so I could add the other pieces of cardstock behind them.
- I took a scrap piece of white cardstock and rubbed my Prize Ribbon DOX pad right onto the paper. When that was dry, I used it to die cut my sentiment and glued that onto a white die cut word shadow.
- I used some foam tape to pop the sentiment over the center of the panel to finish my card off.
Here is the stencil I used:

Another clever design using this lovely stencil, having the design going in both directions using a different blue for each, and the large coordinating sentiment finishes it perfectly Karen. x
What a great stencil, looks good the way you have used it. Thanks for joining us at Creative Knockouts
