Little Snowfall

Welcome
Todays card is a fun one and features the new stencil from A Colorful Life Designs called:

So, here's what I did to create my card.
  • I placed the Little Snowfall stencil over a piece of white cardstock and inked it up with some Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink.
  • I cleaned the stencil off and shifted it up and to the side of the first print and then inked again with some Salty Ocean DOX ink.
  • I removed the stencil and added white dots to all the snowflake centers with my white Posca pen and set aside to dry.
  • Next, I inked another piece of white cardstock with a stencil called Dotted Lines with more of the Tumbled Glass DOX ink, turned the stencil around and inked again with more of the Salty Ocean ink.  I used that to die cut the sentiment.
  • I glued my stenciled card front onto a piece of pale blue cardstock, then onto a white A2 sized card base.
  • I used some foam tape to pop the sentiment over the background.

Here are the stencils I used:

A perfect card for our new theme at Allsorts challenge, thanks so much for joining us. Much as it's lovely to see you at Stamping Sensations as well, you say there are no stamps on your card, we are a stamping challenge.

I love the way you've filled out the background by moving the stencil and inking again so that it has the two different blue tones, and it makes a great background Karen, and the added large die cut 'JOY' using another stencil on one diagonal and then going in the opposite direction works brilliant to give a criss cross pattern on the letters..such pretty shades of blue. x
