Welcome
This fun little card was created using the new stencil called:
from A Colorful Life Designs.
Lots of possibilities with this one, but I decided to keep it really simple.
So, here's what I did to create my card.
- I placed the Circles Galore stencil over a piece of white cardstock and inked it up with some Lumberjack Plaid Distress Oxide ink. I was left with a fun panel of dotted circles.
- To add more interest, I took the eraser on the end of a pencil and added the dots in these Distress Oxide colours; Ripe Persimmon, Abandoned Coral and some Peacock Feathers.
- I glued my square stenciled panel onto a piece of blue cardstock and then onto a white 4 1/4" square card base.
- I stamped the sentiment in my Misti and die cut it out. I die cut a blue circle slightly larger and glued them together before adding them to the middle of my card with some foam tape to pop it up.
Here is the stencil I used:

This is gorgeous - love the cheery colours, Jo x
The stencilled background is so bright and pretty Karen using the red for the circles and your trick of using the eraser on the end of a pencil for the large dots in orange and blue works brilliantly, also the circular sentiment with the added blue on the heart and the matching blue matted layer finish it beautifully. x
A fabulous and cheerful birthday card!

Hi Karen. What a cool card. That stencil is really amazing, and I'm loving what you did with it. You've got a great eye for color and creativity. I saw your card in the SSS challenge, and wanted to stop by to invite you to come share your art with us also at Word Art Wednesday. Lots of great PRIZES and always Anything Goes/Family Friendly. I look forward to seeing more of your art. Your card really made me smile. It's so fun and colorful.
