Good Morning
Today's cute card was made using a new for May stencil from A Colorful Life Designs called:
So, here's what I did to create my card.
- I laid the Circles and Diamonds stencil flat onto my work surface and pressed my Prize Ribbon Distress Oxide ink pad all over the stencil until it was covered with ink.
- I sprayed the stencil with some Rubbing Alcohol and then pressed it onto my white cardstock and left it there for a minute to let the ink soak in.
- I dried the paper, cleaned off the stencil and placed it back over the pattern, matching it up and inked again with more of the Prize Ribbon DOX ink.
- While that dried, I die cut the zipper with some navy cardstock.
- I took the stenciled base and cut a small 'V' at the top and glued the zipper over the stenciled background. I also added a small piece of white cardstock behind the zipper to show at the top.
- I glued that onto a piece of pale grey cardstock, then onto a piece of pale blue and then onto a white A2 sized card base.
- I had a small piece of the stenciled base left when I cut it down, so I used that to create a small pocket.
- I used some foam tape to add the pre-printed sentiment across the bottom to finish my card off.
Here is the stencil I used:

What a fabulous zipper die on this pretty patterned cardigan and love the white vest shape beneath and the all over circles and diamonds stencil is just perfect and loe the purple tones, and a fun white on black banner sentiment as the finishing touch. x
This is a fun way to use Stencils and Dies together. It's a lovely stencil. Chantell Just Add Ink
