Cheers to Another Year

Good Morning
One last card using this month's new releases from A Colorful Life Designs called

So, here's what I did to create my card.
  • I placed the Diamond Circle stencil over a piece of white cardstock and began inking in the center with some Salty Ocean Distress Oxide ink. Moving outwards on the stencil, I inked with some Broken China DOX and lastly around the edges with some Cracked Pistachio DOX ink.
  • While that dried, I die cut the sentiment with some green cardstock.
  • I wanted to help the sentiment show up better against the background so I die cut the Burlap Texture with some white cardstock.
  • I glued the stenciled card front onto a piece of green, then onto a white A2 sized card base.
  • I glued the burlap over the middle and then added the sentiment.

Here is the stencil I used:

Rockin' Out

Good Morning

Today's card is more on the masculine side featuring the newly released for May stencil from
A Colorful Life Designs called:

So, here's what I did to create my card.
  • I placed a piece of white cardstock onto my Make Art Station and put the Right Angles stencil over that. I inked with some Black Soot Distress Oxide ink.
  • I lifted the stencil off and then repositioned it and then inked again creating this fun pattern.
  • I splattered with my black Posca pen and set aside to dry.
  • While that dried, I die cut the guitar and the Burlap Texture die with some red cardstock.
  • I stamped the sentiment with some black and then glued it onto a piece of red cardstock.
  • Next, I glued the stenciled panel onto a piece of red cardstock and then onto an A2 sized card base.
  • I glued the Burlap die cut onto the panel, then added the guitar over that.
  • Lastly, I used some foam tape to add the sentiment across the bottom.

Holly Sprigs

Good Morning
Today's card features a new stencil from A Colorful Life Designs called
Do you ever think about fussy cutting out your stenciled images?  That's what I did for my card.

So, here's what I did to create my card.
  • I began with 2 pieces of white cardstock and placed one onto my Make Art Station.  I placed the Layered Holly Sprig stencil over my cardstock and inked up the leaves with some Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide ink.
  • Next, I rubbed some Rustic Wilderness DOX ink along the edges to give the leaves more interest.
  • I lifted that part of the stencil up and moved it to the leaf details that I inked up with some Lucky Clover DOX ink.
  • I took the 2nd piece of cardstock and repeated that whole above process again, leaving me with 2 stenciled panels.
  • I splattered them with my white Posca pen and set aside to dry.
  • I cut another piece of white cardstock and dry embossed it with a folder which would become my card front base.
  • I die cut the Burlap with some red cardstock then glued that onto the embossed card front.
  • I fussy cut out the Holly leaves and used some foam tape to layer them together.
  • I glued the holly over the Burlap die cut and then added a piece of twine and some red gems.
  • I glued a pre-printed sentiment along the bottom and then glued it all onto an A2 sized card base.

Fetching Snowflake

Welcome
Today's card features the newly released Fetching Snowflake stencil from A Colorful Life Designs.
Really fun snowflake to ink up.

So, here's what I did to create my card.
  • I cut a piece of white cardstock and placed it onto my Make Art Station and centered the Fetching Snowflake stencil over my cardstock.
  • Instead of inking first right over the stencil, I inked up the  large Burlap Background stamp with some Uncharted Mariner Distress Oxide ink and stamped right over the stencil giving the background a lovely, textured look.
  • Keeping the stencil in place, I inked over it with some Salty Ocean DOX ink which outlined the snowflake perfectly.
  • I placed the stenciled panel into my Misti to stamp the sentiment.
  • I glued the inked panel onto a piece of navy cardstock, then onto an A2 sized card base.
