Welcome
Meet today's card.
It came together quickly as I used a previous inked background that I created with acrylic paint on my Gel Plate. I used some bubble wrap to lift the colour from the plate that you can see in the background.
So here's what I did to create my card.
- Like I mentioned above, the blue background was done on my Gel Plate. I brayered some blue and green acrylic paint onto the plate, then pressed some bubble wrap over that, lifting the colour and leaving a fun impression behind.
- I splattered over the gel print with my white Posca paint pen and while that dried, I die cut the Dancing Snowflake Square from some white cardstock. (my finished card is 4 1/4 x 4 1/4")
- I cute the gel print to size and glued it onto a square card base. I glued the die cut snowflakes over that.
- While that dried, I cut a few extra little snowflakes and glued them over the front panel to add more interest and to help fill in some of the open areas.
- I die cut the sentiment from more white cardstock 3 times and then glued them together and onto my card front.
- To finish off my card, I glued on 3 little pearl gems.
Thanks so much for coming by and taking a look.
