Sending Sweet Wishes

Today at the Penny Black blog, they are featuring clean and simple cards that the designers have created.  Here is the one I made using the newly released stamps.  The flower is stamped onto blue cardstock, embossed with white and details added with a blue pencil before cutting out.  The leaves are embossed with clear onto green.  Dimensional adhesive was used to ‘pop’ the floral arrangement.
Thanks so much for coming by and taking a look.

Special Day in the Garden

I am playing along today with the Clean and Simple challenge at Splitcoast Stampers to create a card based on a sketch.  Now normally I don't do well with sketches, but this one came together just fine.  First I stamped the flower panel by masking the main flower and stamping the two on the sides.  I coloured them with Copic markers and added the black line to pull it all together.  I mounted that small panel on a piece of embossed white then mounted that onto a piece of orange with 2 scored lines to define the edges.  The flowers are from the new Penny Black set called Petal Party and the sentiment is from the set Gratitude.
Thanks so much for coming by to take a look and hope you have a great week.

Pink Petals

Summer is here so time for a bright flower card.  I am playing along with the challenge at CAS-ual Friday, to create a card with pink on it.  I pulled out one of my all-time favourite sets from Stampin up called Petal Prints for the flowers.  They are stamped, coloured with Copics and the arrangement is pop dotted for interest.  The bkg. is stamped and added between 2 scored lines.  The corner is rounded with a corner chomper.
Thanks again for coming by and taking a look.  Hope you enjoy a great wknd.

Dad's Rock

Very busy week coming up for me and I wanted to post this card I created for my hubbie for Father's Day.  He is such a music fan so this stamp set from Inkadinkadoo called to me when I saw it.  I stamped the images, cut them out and pop dotted them between the scored lines.  The sentiment is from Paper Smooches.
Thanks so much for coming by and taking a look.  Hope you have a great week.
