CASology- How Do You Wrap a Hug?

Good Morning
I have the great pleasure of being the Guest Designer today at CASology.

The cue word this month is:

I began my card by stamping the Christmas Sweater bkg from SSS onto white cardstock using Peacock Feathers DOX.
*Be sure to give the Distress Oxide inks time to dry for a wonderful deep saturation of colour.*
I cut the piece down to a small square and glued it onto my card front as I wanted that to become the focal point of my card.
Next, I scored a border around the small stamped piece using my ScorPal.  It helped define the edges of my blue stamping and also acted like a frame to draw the eye in.
I stamped the sentiment from Penny Black then added the cute red button tied with a piece of white twine.
Who wouldn't love a hug wrapped up in a cozy sweater!

Thanks so much Melissa for asking my to play along as the GD.
Thanks for coming by and taking a look.

Adding my card to these challenges:
Simon Says Wed.- SOMETHING NEW
(sweater bkg stamp I got just before Christmas)
 Seize the Birthday- ANYTHING GOES
Shopping Our Stash- OUT WITH THE OLD AND IN WITH THE NEW
(old button I have had in my stash forever, bkg stamp I just got)
Use Your Stuff- SOMETHING NEW
(sweater bkg stamp is new)

Supplies
Stamps- Christmas Sweater (SSS); Wrap a Hug (PB)
Inks- Peacock Feather DOX (TH); Tuxedo Black Memento
Paper- heavy white (local store)
Accessories and Tools- Misti; red button (Dollarama); twine; Tombow clear glue
