Good Morning and Welcome.
Time for another card for The Flower Challenge.
This month out theme is:
For my card, I took a super simple approach.
I placed this stamp called Sketchy Florals into my Misti and stamped with black. I stamped the flower part again onto another piece of cardstock and cut it out using a Spellbinder die.
I haven't watercoloured using my Distress Oxides yet but have read how others have loved using them for that, so I decided to give it a try.
I rubbed the inks onto my non-stick craft sheet and picked up the colors with a wet paintbrush. I found it worked best if I wet my paper first to help the inks flow and move better. I have to say that they worked great.
When the circle was dry, I used pop dots to position it over the main stamped panel and stamped the sentiment from that same set at the top.
To add some extra interest, I covered the flower with some clear Wink of Stella which is a shame that you can't see it in the photo.
There is still time to play along so I hope you will join us.
Thanks for looking.
