Happy Saturday!
Just recently I noticed there is a new challenge in town, so I wanted to give it a try since it sounded like fun.
The challenge is called Twofer....make 2 cards for different occasions using the same stamp.
So here's what I came up with.
Card #1
I created the first card as one of encouragement that could be used for many different occasions.
I placed this wonderful feather stamp into my Misti and coloured directly onto my stamp using Tombow markers. I sprayed with water then pressed onto my paper.
I repeated that process until I was happy with the colour blends.
When it was all dry, I stamped the sentiment and clear heat embossed it to help it pop.
Card #2
I created my second card as a birthday card, more masculine feeling and monochromatic.
Instead of stamping the whole feather, I masked off my card front on an angle, stamped the feathers with gray ink on the left side using my Misti, then turned the feather and stamped again to the side.
I used my ScorBug to add a dotted perforated line to help add interest.
It was fun to see what I could come up with using the same stamp.
Thanks so much for coming by and taking a look.

great idea !
Wow! These are gorgeous and I love that big feather image you used for them.
gorgeous Karen, love how you masked off the edges before you stamped and the use of your score buddy. So clever and such an interesting lay out. wonderfull colours on both cards :)
What a gorgeous feather, my friend! I love it in the vibrant blues and the monochromatic is perfect for a guy!
Barb again - I checked out Technique Junkies and found some unusual stamps including the peacock feather. Thanks!
Your feather cards are so creative and very, very different from each other. Isn't this just a great challenge to help us stretch our stamps and our creativity? TFS both your beauties, Karen. Hugs..
stunning cards both
Love the very different looks you got from the stamp - the more neutral one would make a great masculine birthday card. And the gorgeous bright colours of the other one fit well with the beauty in the sentiment and the theme of encouragement.
What a wonderful peacock stamp this is and I love the two cards you have made with it. I'm still thinking of what to do for this challenge and time is running out Eek! hugs Mrs A.
Both cards are fab Karen x
Two wonderful cards Karen and the peacock feather stamp looks fabulous on both. I love the colours you have used on the right hand card and the great sentiment, and then the monochromatic version is so cleverly designed with the embossed dashes around the two sections, and what a great idea to put it on the diagonal instead of straight. x
It is really amazing how you got two totally different looks using such a big stamp! The coloring on the first one is absolutely fabulous but I also love it partly stamped in gray!
Thank you so much for joining us at the very first Twofer Card Challenge!
Gorgeous cards, love them both Karen.xxHave a lovely weekend.♥

Beautiful cards - great job with the contrasting styles.
Two beautiful designs with your feather stamp, Karen. Love all the colours of the first --- so bright and bold. The sentiment is lovely. The second card is perfect for a masculine birthday card. Great design with masking part of the design and stamping in gray. Thanks for playing along with us at Twofer Card Challenge! xx
So artsy and so unique...love them x
Fabulous job, Karen. That feathery feather look good both monochromatic and richly colorful.
I'm so glad you had fun and embraced the concept of my new Twofer challenge, Karen! It's so great to see you in the gallery! I love both the encouragement card in the bold colors and the more manly monochrome card~those perforated scor-lines are awesome!! Thank you so much for joining with us!! Hugs, Darnell
Your cards really caught my eye!
I love that gorgeous colorful
card-it reminds me of my aunt and uncles house
in Tennessee. They had a farm and had peacocks in their repertoire of animals. Peacocks are actually very good “watch birds”. Anytime someone drove up the driveway those birds would let out sounds that sounded like a woman screaming :-)
Great job on using the stamp in two different designs!
What wonderful cards Karen - love the totally different 'looks' you have obtained with the one stamp
Blessings
Maxine
Your thought process with these cards is just outside the box and so VERY beautiful. I wish you lived closer to give me a heads up on just a little of what you do. FABULOUS cards.

Fantastic cards, Karen! You've really created two very different cards with that (wonderful) large image - that's a challenge in and of itself! Great details in both your Tombow marker blending and in your masking. Thanks for joining in on the fun at Twofer Card Challenge!
Two fabulous cards Karen, loving the colors and such beautiful stamps!
Beautiful cards. Your cards are so inspiring and I love seeing how creative you are.
This image looks stunning either way, Karen! I love the vibrancy of the Tombow version, but I also love the soft monochrome of the diagonal version.
