Leaf Print

Hello and Welcome
Meet today's card.
I just love how this turned out and it was so fun to try something new using my Gel Plate.
As I have mentioned before, I have been playing with my Gel Plate.
I found this video by Lydia Fiedler and I just had to try it out.  It is simple and fun.

So here is what I did to create my card.
I began by squeezing out some grey and black acrylic paint onto my glass mat and then rolled my brayer into the paint till my brayer was covered.
Next, I rolled the brayer over the Big Leaves stencil from A Colourful Life Designs.  It transferred the image design onto my brayer.  Be sure to just roll in one direction.  I took the brayer and rolled it onto my Gelli Plate to transfer the image over it.  I rubbed my paper over the plate to lift the print.
You just never know what you will get when using the Gelli Plate.

When the print was dry, I mounted it onto a heavy white card base.
I stamped the sentiment with some black Versafine then mounted it to one side over my front panel with some foam dots.

Thanks so much for coming by and taking a look.

Here is the stencil I used:

Supplies
Stamps- Everyday Sentiments (You Next Stamp)
Inks- Versafine, Acrylic paint
Paper- heavy white (Scribes Nook)
Accessories and Tools- Gelli Plate; Big Leaf stencil (A Colorful Life Designs); brayer; pop dots

Beautiful stencil work. I love the simple black and white too. I have so many stencils and so many things that have not seen love so I have to try and concentrate on using more of them. Take care and stay well.

This is really pretty. I'm not sure what this says about me but does anyone see what I see in the card? It looks just like a bikini top and bottom. Anyone else see it?
