The Good Life

Good Morning.
Today's card features the new Viewmaster stencil from A Colorful Life Designs.
Have you ever used your stencils to stamp with?
It's a fun technique and easy to do.

So, here's what I did to create my card.
  • I cut a piece of white cardstock to use as my card front panel.
  • Next, I got out one of the solid images from the Paint Swatches stamp set...see it below.

  • I inked the stamp up with some Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide ink along the top and then some Candied Apple DOX ink along the bottom.
  • Here's where the stamping part comes in.....I pressed the inked solid stamp onto the Viewmaster stencil to pick up the pattern, then stamped it onto my white cardstock.  I love how it transferred the pattern onto the stamp and what a great way to get a different look using your stencils.  You can also see how it transferred the pattern of the paper towels that I had the stencil sitting on top of.
  • When the ink was dry, I placed the panel into my Misti and stamped the flowers along the bottom and the sentiment into the right hand corner.
  • I glued the panel onto a piece of pink cardstock and then onto an A2 card base.

Here is the stencil I used:
