Good Morning. In an effort to use up some of the inked background papers I have had in a box for ages, I found this shaving cream piece that I made years ago....that became my card front. For those of you that have never done this shaving cream technique, there is a great tutorial over at Splitcoast you can watch to see how it is done; super easy.
While looking through that box, I found a piece of cardstock that I had stamped and embossed with white embossing powder and never used. I used it to die-cut my poinsettia from Spellbinders. While the paper was still in the die, I sponged it with Faded Jeans Distress ink. I love the results...it gave the flower a frosted look as the embossing resisted the ink. I mounted the flower onto a strip of white cardstock with a small strip of silver paper under that. The button and the silver twine finish off the center of the flower.

LOVE the shaving cream piece, and I LOVE LOVE LOVE that you are working out of your collection of inked backgrounds. I agree the inking on the poinsettia leaves was a super idea, too. Thanks for joining us at Shopping Our Stash!
So stunning :) I love the BG, thank you for sharing with ATSM
Make an effort not to shaving foam first thing on the off chance that you can stay away from it. Assuming you hold on until some other time in the day, your skin will be more ready for it. Over the course of the day, your facial skin will turn out to be less puffy and thusly you will actually want to draw a nearer shave.
