Merry and Bright

I am snowflake obsessed this year so here is another holiday card with a snowflake on it!
An easy one for sure, also a great one for getting out your frustrations with a rubber mallet LOL.
As you may have read in some of my past posts, I love using a rubber mallet to create random embossing on my card fronts.  Just place your cardstock into an embossing folder and hit it with a rubber mallet.  I love doing this as you can add embossing to just the areas you want.
Next, I die-cut the snowflake from Simon Says and stamped the sentiment from Kaiser Stamp.

Adding my card to these challenges:

The Crazy Challenge- FAVOURITE TECHNIQUE

Thanks so much for coming by and taking a look.

Supplies:  stamps- Kaiser/ die- SSS/ embossing folder- Cuttlebug/ pearl/ rubber mallet

Oh, Karen, this is fabulous! I love all the white (for snow), and this snowflake die is wonderful, along with the sentiment! And using that old mallet again, eh? Genius! I love it! Hugs, sweet friend, and keep warm and safe!!

I've not heard of the rubber mallet technique but you can be sure I am going to try it as I like the look of random embossing. I have tried the rolling pin in lieu of a machine and can say that doesn't work. That is a fun snowflake die. Your overall card design is very elegant, with a bit of quirk to it. Love it!
